Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the ClashLand app, watch app and website (the “Service”). By creating an account you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy.

Eligibility and accounts

• You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country) to play.
• You are responsible for your account and for keeping your credentials secure. One person, one account.
• You can delete your account at any time in the app; this permanently removes your data.

Play safely

ClashLand is played outdoors. Always pay attention to your surroundings, obey traffic laws and signs, do not trespass on private property, and never play while driving or cycling. You participate at your own risk; we are not responsible for injuries, accidents or property damage that occur while playing.

Fair play

• Territories may be claimed only by walking or running a closed loop. Vehicles, GPS spoofing, replayed routes, bots and modified clients are prohibited.
• Our systems verify routes automatically and moderators may review captures. Suspicious captures can be rejected, points can be removed and accounts can be suspended or banned.
• Territory names and profile content must not be offensive, hateful, sexual, or infringe anyone’s rights. We may edit or remove such content.

The game

• Territories, points, levels and achievements are game features with no monetary value and may be changed, rebalanced or reset as the game evolves.
• Other players may take territory from you according to the game rules; that is part of the game.
• Bonus places and map data come from OpenStreetMap and may be inaccurate; we may adjust them.

Health data

If you connect Apple Watch, health metrics are collected only during captures and used only within the game as described in the Privacy Policy. ClashLand is not a medical device and provides no medical advice.

Intellectual property

The Service, its design and code belong to us. Map data is © OpenStreetMap contributors (ODbL). You keep ownership of the content you submit (for example territory names and photos) and grant us a license to display it within the Service.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or harm other players. You may stop using the Service at any time.

Disclaimer and liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 12 months (currently zero, the game is free).
